Sébastien Chéramy, born in 1979, is a French abstract painter whose work draws inspiration from the textures and symbolism of urban walls. Initially trained in stained glass restoration, he later earned a PhD in Art History, which deepened his understanding of artistic expression.

Chéramy's paintings are characterized by their abstract style, reflecting his fascination with the marks and imperfections found on city walls—elements he perceives as symbolic of life's transience and resilience. His creative process is intuitive, building layers over time to allow each piece to evolve organically.

Since 2003, Chéramy has been an active painter and art instructor, with his works exhibited across Europe, China, and the Americas. His art has garnered international acclaim, earning the trust of collectors worldwide.

Through his abstract compositions, Chéramy invites viewers to find beauty in the overlooked aspects of urban environments, encouraging a deeper contemplation of the ordinary.
