Yin Ming Wong is a Brooklyn-based artist whose work delves into themes of cultural identity, nostalgia, and displacement. She earned both, a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, followed by a Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts.

Wong is best known for her series of paintings that use ping pong as a metaphor for code-switching and the Asian American experience. By depicting ping pong matches in unexpected settings, she conveys the fluidity and challenges of navigating multiple cultural identities.

In 2024, she served as the Image-Maker in Residence for The Sociological Review, where she explored language fluency and displacement through her art.

Through her creative practice, Wong continues to explore the complexities of hybrid identities, offering nuanced perspectives on the Asian American narrative.
